Homestead Construction Specifications for Solid Wood Framed Cabinets
Face Frames – 1” and 3/4″ x 1-1/2” W solid wood stiles and rails with concealed mortise and tenon joinery
Cabinet Construction: Dowel assembly
Cabinet Sides – 3/4” Birch veneered plywood. Maple/Birch veneer interior. Sanded flush finished sides
Cabinet Backs – 1/4”
Cabinet Tops and Bottoms – 3/4” thick plywood. All bottoms sanded flush
Shelves – 3/4″ thick plywood with veneered front edge. Steel pin shelf supports. 5mm holes spaced on 32mm centers
Drawer Boxes – 5-piece construction. 5/8” thick solid maple sides, fronts and backs. Dovetail joinery on all four corners. 1/4” thick birch plywood bottom standard – optional upgrade to 3/8” bottoms
Drawer Slides – Hettich “Quadro V6” full-extension concealed drawer runners with integrated Silent System. 5-way adjustable. Rated for 90 lbs weight capacity
Hinges: Hettich soft-close concealed adjustable hinges
Dust Covers – All base cabinets, other than sink and range bases, receive a full 3/4” thick top (dust cover) to create a totally enclosed unit
Doors and Drawer Fronts – 1” and 3/4” doors and drawer fronts. 5-piece solid wood doors/drawer fronts. 1-piece MDF doors/drawer fronts. Framing bead and panel style options. 80 standard door styles
